Let us thank God for all the blessing, we ? as the city resident ? can still enjoy the outputs of the city development and keep developing in today's local autonomy era.

Therefore, let us optimistically welcome this autonomy with the sense of response full, followed by better collaborating between City Government, City Resident and Legislative Institution.

Local Autonomy produces bigger opportunity as well as bigger challenge for the local government of Malang City. Consequently, we have to be able to take the benefit from the existing opportunity ? improving the quality and the facility of formal education adapted with the next present days, good management of natural resources as well as human resources and employment, improving the activities of the weak community based on local economy especially small industries, and tourism development trough developing of infrastructure which is intensively involving the participation of the entrepreneurs; the investors; also the city resident.

I myself want to positively welcome this website whose contain is about the potency of Malang as promoting the Malang City itself. Hopefully, as this website is online, we would find the way in the future development with all of the resources we have ? developing the quality of community life.
